QUESTIONS
BASKETBALL FAQ.
What ages do you train for basketball?
Apex basketball runs from age 5 through high-school varsity. Drills, court size, and intensity scale with age — a 7-year-old works on dribbling fundamentals, a 16-year-old works on read-and-react decision-making.
How long until I see real improvement?
Most athletes see measurable gains in shooting form, ball-handling, or vertical jump within 4–6 weeks of consistent training (2 sessions per week). Our 12-week programs include progress benchmarks every 4 weeks.
Do you train shooting specifically?
Yes. Shooting mechanics — base, balance, release, follow-through — is one of our four core pillars. We use rep-based correction, not just "shoot more."
Do you do private 1-on-1 basketball coaching?
Yes. Small-group sessions max out at 6 athletes. Private 1-on-1 is also available — pricing varies by coach. Most parents start with the free first session and decide from there.
Where do basketball sessions happen?
We run sessions at parks, partner courts, and indoor facilities across Parkland, Coral Springs, Boca Raton, Coral Gables, Doral, Miramar, Davie, Sunrise, Miami, Kendall, and Palmetto Bay. Specific facility is confirmed when you book.
